A nice experience all around. Everything was clean and tidy. Staff were nice. The food was good. I had my daily Irn Bru of course. An interesting location with some good sites. Nice gift shop too.

It was a beautiful afternoon to enjoy a sandwich out on the patio. Nice area.
Sandwiches were delicious. Tuna and Ham and cheese. Order at counter and then they deliver to your table. Get your table number before you head to counter.

We stopped here for a late lunch whilst up in Scotland. It was fairly busy and we hadn't booked but we're able to get a table. We had the pie of the day and the fishcakes which were both very good. Would definitely go back again if in the area.

Fantastic cafe close to the canal. Highly recommend the cream of mushroom and tarragon soup, was incredibly tasty. Black pudding toasty was also good. Has a kids menu too. Local beers available. Can sometimes be a wait for a table but they give out a buzzer so you can check out the shop while you wait.

Went here for lunch on a rainy afternoon and loved it!
It was very busy despite the poor weather but managed to get a seat inside for 2 with no wait at around 2:30pm on a Saturday. The service was great, all very polite and quick. The food was amazing so tasty and fresh, with big portions! I had the fish and chips where the batter on the fish was so light and crispy, not greasy at all! And my mum had the soup and sandwich which she enjoyed. The cakes all looked incredible but we didn’t have any on our visit. All slightly pricey but it is a very touristy spot so on reflection it’s pretty fair.

Special mention to the toilets, all single roomed toilets which were so spacious, clean and modern! Very surprised walking into them as it felt very luxurious, the provided hand cream smells divine!

We stopped by for a bite to eat on our way to Loch Ness. It was very busy as the Jacobite boat trips leave from here, but we got a table. It was nearly lunchtime, so there was a limited menu, and we both had soup. I asked for a cheese scone, but a lovely,polite lady said they had run out and I could have crusty bread instead. The soup was delicious.
The cafe has toilets and shops and a gelato kiosk. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
There are also some Highland cows or coos you can admire in a field beside the ample car park.

This was such a nice cafe! Limited menu but had exactly what we were looking for which was a classic Scottish breakfast. Coffee and lattes are also delicious. This place also has the cleanest and nicest bathrooms we’ve been to anywhere in Scotland, which we really appreciated.

Very pleasant cafe and gift shop. Big tasty portions. We had quiche salad with chips and coleslaw, and a baked potato with cheese and beans. Very friendly staff. Busy but well-organized. Very quick food delivery. Good toilets (unisex cubicles each with their own, which is great to see).
