New owners have made the shop feel much bigger by adding shelving and having fully stocked shelves. I have worked in the village for 5 years now and the old shop was always bare when I visited, rarely had what I was looking for when on a break which included tobacco and cold drinks. Am a regular visitor there now and I imagine that the housing estate (that was built a good few years ago) and other local residents appreciate they don’t have to travel to the other end of the village any more to get everyday bits and pieces.
