The imperial air museum is an amazing place to visit. It includes an American air museum that is incredible. Housing a B17 and B52 plus blackbird and phantom to name only a few. A must visit with many more hangers full of epic aeroplanes from the past. Also you can board lots of aircraft including Concord. A day out to remember for everyone. Lots of air display days. These photos were of the Battle of Britain event. Fantastic.

One of the best hangars at Duxford. Includes aircraft such as the A10, SR71, B52 as well as a few more relaly unique aircraft. A really unique museum which has aircraft which would be hard to find in the UK or globally. Would highly reccomend

It was like walking into a child's bedroom and seeing the airfix models hanging from the ceiling. But these were the real thing. Amazing huge aircraft beautifully displayed.
The B52 bomber was colossal and of course the star of the show the Blackbird. Wow.
The presentation was first class. Can't fault it.

If you're in the UK and interested in aviation, this is a must visit place.
Excellent museum with aircraft from WW1, WWII, cold war and modern era. The American museum at Duxford is well laid out and volunteers make your visit easy. The SR71 and B52 are awe inspiring but the F15, P51 and P47 hanging from the ceiling are just awesome.
Highly recommended.

Amazing aeroplanes in a huge hanger. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Small cafe near the viewing gallery upstairs. There are some very special planes here.
There is also a very sobering exhibit. A piece of twisted steel from the World Trade Centre. We must never forget.

Lots of walking but we didn't mind. So much to see and the changes this year will be interesting to see.
Lovely staff (especially the gentleman we chatted to in the American hangar and the lady in the Air Space one!).
