Whenever I need currency I go to this exchange, unless your changing thousands of pounds its really a waste of time travelling afar to get a better rate, however ACE-FX usually offer great rates, usually being in the top 3 rates offered near me, if I do bother to check. The staff are always helpful, friendly and informed.

Always a great rate and good service from Ace FX. I have been using them since 2017 without issue. Went today to collect currency the young gentleman behind the counter was polite. He was unable to find my currency initially, located it. Followed their procedures and handed me the money.

Good exchange rates and conveniently located at London Bridge Stn. Any amount under £500 is paid in cash and above can go to the bank account.

Used them a couple of times and have booked rates online (which are slightly better than on location).

Carry original ID and they’ll manage the rest. Staff is very helpful

I went to sell my $ to £..I made the online transaction and went to the london bridge branch. I have to do the same process all over again as if i have not done them online. And when i gave my $$ they said that the money in exchane will not be on my account till the following day at 5 pm.. I took my money back and cancel the transaction.It should be made clear to the clients prior doing the transaction that it will not be paid into the clients account until the next day.What a waste of time and effort

Called up Canary Wharf branch. Spoke to Margaret. She was lovely.
I was happy with the rate id get back.
Told to come into the branch
I had to fill out a piece of paper with what I had already completed on line.
shortly before. “Made no logical sense”.
I handed over my euros Thursday afternoon, and they said the money (sterlin) would be in my acct Friday between 3pm - 5pm.

Friday by 5 pm no money is in my account
I received a call about 9 am on the Friday doublecheck in my bank account which is all correct. Laidee said the money be in my account later on that day Friday.
At 4o’clock I Called the branch to double check as no funds as yet.
I was reassured that the money would be in my account.
I called at 4.30 and 4.45pm as no money still not in my acct. i’m told they will check and call me back. No call back, and I call and I’ve got a message saying the shop is now closed.
I’m travelling and I was unable to travel in the end.

Saturday morning I went into the brach.
I told her no money is on my account. I told him no one called me back and then told them that they need to pay me in cash.

This is what they said, “they do not have any sterling to pay me’. This is supposed to be a bureau exchange flipping joke.

They asked me to quote my account number, trying to put it down to my account being incorrect which was a load of nonsense. He quoted my correct account number. A young lady even called me 9am Friday double checking my acct detail’s & confirmed I’d be paid by 5pm.
I ended up waiting in Canary for over 4 hours because they said you definitely will be paid.

I get a call back to say the money is on my accountl. I checked, It wasn’t there.
I am then told to bear with him, 1 hr passes, he calls back and says oh sorry my money won’t be paid till Monday.
I was so upset I broke down crying in the middle of a store.
I’m glad I taped this staffs conversation as I knew something was not right as I had over 2k in euros and I had to ensure I’d had proof that they were l lying incase my money disappears.

The manager called me on Monday to say he’s been left a note to call me. I told him everything that had happened. He said “he doesn’t know why no one called him, because he could’ve sorted it out. He even said they could have given me the cash in branch.
He said he wanted to investigate the matter and promised to and call me back. LOL, still waiting for his call back.
That is the service you get just lies upon lied.

To make it worse there is no offer of any sort of compensation for all the money I lost, all the time wasted. Not even the call back. Nothing.

Would I use the service again? absolutely “NEVER”

I wonder if their reviews are real customer reviews.

Honestly, Be careful if you’re selling money back through this bureau.

I’d rather use a bank and get a lower rate as you won’t be dealing with this Mickey Mouse doggie service, that I experienced.
I bet their reply will be, oh we had the wrong details considering you have to complete an ‘online application, and fill in a form when you go in store to confirm all details are correct. lol jokers
