Poor. Slow service. Huge queues. Last time I was in there they allowed people to continually join the queue to then close the one open counter with a sign saying ‘position closed’ without letting anyone know, 10 minutes to 4 - way before closing.

Last few months have been slightly better, as there are usually 2 members of staff on. Avoid after 4pm if you can though as it often goes down to only 1 staffed counter and can be agonisingly slow.

Came here to put some coins into my bank what a waste of time the member of staff refused to do it as they was not in the correct bag there was a big queue with 2 members on was really worst post office I have been to

acute shortage of staff, almost always huge queues of 15/20 people. The self-service machines are very cluttered and people simply don’t know how to use them, poor employee trying to help everyone.

I couldn't fault the ONE man behind the counter on a Saturday morning! In fact I bet he doesn't get paid enough for all the stress he is under! The queue was huge, self service not working! He didn't know where to put himself! What a shambles. Someone should be monitoring these reviews and work on changing it

Very poor experience. Long queue one person serving. Wanted to buy euros, but my card was not accepted due to a technical failure. I had to get some cash from my bank and return. Very poor level of service. Stay away if you can.

Didn't give me a proof of postage and LOST the parcel!!! What a useless post office, please DO NOT use it as they lose parcels and don't give you proof of delivery despite me specifically asking for it.
Instead the woman there had written a tracking number and said that it'll be enough as proof of delivery. Turns out that it didn't! They lost my parcel with goods value of £125 and I can't claim compensation as there is no printed receipt, only a scribble with tracking number which says that they've received the parcel.
This is a disgrace of service. AVOID them!

I don't like to complain but this is just awful customer service. Tried to be helpful and use the self service to return a parcel rather than add to a queue to see a member of staff. Was told having tried for some time to process the return that the machines could not be used for my return and rather than helping me process the return at that time as it was clear I had been waiting, I was then told to go to the back of the queue. There was nothing on the machine, nor my email for the parcel return to say this was the case.
Will not be using the services in the town centre branch again.
