Rating: WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO!

I recently visited Ramsdens at Newborough in Scarborough to inquire about selling some .999 fine silver. To my dismay, I was offered a shockingly low price of 10p per gram, despite knowing that the current scrap price for .999 silver is around £0.68 per gram. This vast discrepancy between the offered price and the actual value left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.

What's more concerning is that my experience is not an isolated incident. Upon sharing my encounter with another individual, they recounted a similar situation involving a gold chain. Despite the item being genuine gold, Ramsdens staff claimed it was gold-plated and attempted to offer silver prices. Fortunately, this person refused the offer and sought a second opinion elsewhere, where they were rightfully compensated for the gold.

Such deceptive practices not only erode trust but also exploit unsuspecting customers who may not be aware of the true value of their items. It's disappointing to see a business resort to such tactics for profit at the expense of honesty and integrity.

Went in to cash a check as online it says that's something they provide, information online was incorrect, the women that worked there was the most rudest person IV come across in customer service and made me feel unwelcome she looked miserable like she never wanted to be there over all I will not return.
