I recently completed the 12 week Advanced Trading course at the London Academy of Trading, and it was truly an eye-opening experience from start to finish. What stood out immediately was the friendly and supportive atmosphere created by the tutors. They made every student feel safe and encouraged, ensuring that no question went unanswered or overlooked. Regardless of which asset class or trading style you were curious about, the mentors were always prepared to guide you in the right direction.

The course itself covered both theoretical concepts and real-life applications. The tutors frequently shared practical insights and market examples that helped me grasp why certain strategies work—and when. This blend of theory and practice made it easier to apply new knowledge directly to my own trades. Moreover, every step of the way, the instructors patiently gave feedback to refine my approach, boosting both my confidence and competence as a trader.

Learning from LAT was both enlightening and enjoyable. I had numerous epiphanies that reshaped my belief system. The course is designed so that it's impossible not to learn what you need. The mentors are outstanding professionals who are incredibly patient.

I DID give 2 stars because I " thought " they're genuinely decent people but changed it to 1 star instead , there’s why …

They are NOT responsible for scoring students' assessments for their diploma, which can be extremely tense and challenging.
You are required to complete at least three main assessments, each involving extensive research and thousands of words of writing.
If you use any online tools to improve your writing or make your answers appear more professional, they will likely fail you.
This is because a third-party software, used by the organisation responsible for qualifying you, can detect if online tools have been utilised to enhance your work.

I should mention that I am a self-taught trader with 9 years of experience.

Despite this, I ended up wasting £2,500 and over three months of hard work attempting to complete my diploma, but it wasn’t deemed good enough.

so, Don’t let yourself be the next victim!

Additionally, most of the lessons and training provided during the course are already available for free online—on platforms like YouTube or Google.

This is my honest experience with LAT and what I went through with them.

So, Before committing to any course with them, think carefully about what you’re getting into.

You won’t find a more honest review than this.

Straight away after leaving my first " very honest review " here , the director of LAT ( Paddy ) emailed me asking to remove my review !!
and then writing a bunch of lies and manipulated replies !
Therefore I reduced my 2 star review to 1 star for their dishonest , lies and manipulations .
I used some online tools to correct my spelling and gramering , and that's why they've failed me to get my diploma .
Again I wasted £2.5K on a completely worthless training course and 3 months of hard work and wrote a massive essay !!
(( avoid these people at all costs , as they don't score you for your hard work and commitment , but they score you if they're like you or not !!
so....
((( avoid avoid avoid the LAT )))

I just received my Level 5 accreditation and can't thank the LAT enough! Starting my trading journey with the LAT allowed me to gain a really good understanding of technical analysis and different trading strategies. I started my journey with the LAT on a one- week course to find out if trading is actually for me as I had no previous experience. All I knew was that I wanted to try something new and ultimately generate an additional income! Once I started the one- week course, I quickly decided to continue with the course at the LAT and work towards my Level 5 accreditation. The teachers at the LAT are not only very knowledgeable but also very approachable. Alastair, Marc and Elliot (only to mention a few) are such an inspiration and their passion for trading is contagious! Thank you for everything you've done for me- you're great!

I began with the Introduction to Financial Markets & Trading course, and after a week I was hooked and stayed on for the 4 week Trading Skills course.

It's a great introduction to Trading and financial economics - and has helped greatly with my journey towards becoming a trader.

The team are fantastic and offer amazing support, both during and post course. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I did an advanced trading course with LAT and got my trading diploma. I am very happy with the course and the way it was organized and structured.
I really like mentors’ approach to trading which always have to include fundamentals and technicals in tandem with each other. Any time you can ask for feedback and they correct your mistakes or show you the right direction.
My trading became strategic and disciplined. Assignments which I had to do to get my diploma were so useful that it created a habit of managing my risk and evaluate the market properly.
The course was worth the money I paid.

I would highly recommend LAT to anyone looking to learn to trade or to advance their skills.
I've just completed the 12 week diploma course and with the new skills I have gained, feel much more confident in my trading ability. The course was well set out and easy to follow and the tutors were amazing explaining everything in detail and answering any questions I had.
The admin team is very helpful and informative and answered any quires I had on the course.
