Saw a new Liz Fenwick paper back in the window and went inside to buy it. Lovely book shop and nice lady. It was the last day of my holiday. Was delighted to find the book.

Hidden treasure found while down for the Shanty Festival. We found a wonderful shop with a wide range of pre-loved & new books at decent prices; & also a helpful, kind & knowledgeable lady behind the counter. Sheer heaven. Will be back next year!

Fantastic selection of books, CDs, DVDs and vinyls. A real hidden gem. Quirky lady behind counter made my roaming more enjoyable. Memorable shop that will likely revisit for more purchases. Has more than the typical “charity” shop that always has the same collection no matter which one you go in. Was tempted to buy more and might have to go back. Other customers were obviously enjoying their browsing too. I have noticed some negative reviews of the shop but it clearly states on the door no food/drink etc. Also you can’t expect the shop owner to know details of every single item in store.

An amazing shop - don't be fooled by the narrow entrance, there is plenty within from books of every description to CDs, vinyl, old comics and other collectables. The staff were kind and friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable.

I love this place, great selection of vinyl to suit all tastes and guaranteed to bring back music memories. Both new and used books, fiction, factual and practical. But the best thing about Hurleys is Emma Emma the manager. She always has a smile and friendly welcome for all and is always happy to chat and offer help where needed. We are very lucky to have this shop in the village. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
