Riverside Cafe in the Antique Centre is definitely recommended. Excellent friendly, helpful service. Great menu.

Outdated racist badges being sold on one of the stalls upstairs. Lovely place and friendly staff but this was disappointing. Labelled as “golly” badges.

Loved the antiques centre and although things are quite pricey it's still a good place to have a browse.
However, we were very disappointed with the cafe. It's very shabby and needs updating.
The staff weren't very pleasant and they only sell filter coffee! Would not recommend. The two stars I have given are for the antiques centre part.

The antique centre is in a very pleasant location on the Quay. It specialises in smaller items such as jewellery and ceramics. It is medium sized and the prices are ok but don't expect quality antiques or bargains. The real disappointment are the staff who are ignorant and have no manners whatsoever. I have no hesitation in NOT recommending this place until the staff have either been given some training in customer service or sacked. As a previous reviewer indicates. The staff are the real problem with this place.
