Why do you continue to show incorrect opening times?!
States on Google Asda opens at 6am on Monday mornings yet at 6.15am it is closed! Extremely frustrating especially when trying to shop before work!

One star is deserved because any time I go to this ASDA the store they either have nothing in stock or staff that can't be arsed to look.
Whenever you check online for the store stock availability and it tells you it's in stock you get to the store and the staff just saying it's not in stock without even looking in the warehouse.
Today this happened I travelled all the way to get a few items that were showing as in stock and the Customer service desk called another member of staff to tlk to instead after being asked what I was after and tell them even showing it said it's in stock the lady basically said no we don't have it so I asked if they could check in the warehouse as I'm aware that this item you couldnt put all the stock out on the shopfloor so it would be stored in the warehouse and at times behind customer service desk.
The lady simply said no they don't have it without even checking, blaming that the asda stock files are not correct and wrong and walked off.
I did find one of the items I was after but decided after the customer service to get a refund and take my custom else where.
Needless to say disappointed as this is a reoccurring issue whenever I decide to give asda another ago they prove to me why the store has gone down hill so badly.
I'd also like to add I have over a decade of retail experience and working in stores and dnt believe the service and stock system works in its current state.
I can also tell when the staff just can't be bothered to do their job and encourage customers to return with great customer service and a helpful attitude.

Optician's are a waste of time. My first and last time I will use them. 1st app he forgot to do part of the test, 2nd app to do what he had forgot cancelled by them. 3rd app cancelled by them this is after 3 months. 4th appointment they asked me to come in early so I did guess what they are behind by half an hour. I am disabled and retired. I have chronic pain so it's not good to stand around. I spoke to a woman who had an appointment at 10.15 at 10.55 still waiting. I told them this is not good. I only went to them as my previous Optician stopped NHS. Being diabetic doesn't help.
They told me that I didn't have to wait and could book it for another day. No Thank You.

Booked for home delivery 19.30-20.30 slot…driver couldn’t be bothered to turn up. Claimed to have been at my front door for 10 mins….my ring door bell and dog would argue otherwise.

Absolutely appalling behaviour

Went to the shop today... the 28th of August... And they have Christmas things out on the shop floor already. This is getting ridiculous. Nobody wants to see Christmas things until after Halloween! Why is it out on the shop floor in AUGUST?! Actually gross. Stop it.

Yesterday, August 9, 2024, at 7:10 p.m., my 13-year-old son was detained by the Asda Superstore Colchester security guard and the shift manager. The security guard said that my son stole ice cream and ate it. My son did not have time to explain the whole situation and was accused of theft.
I was forced to pay £8.50 for two packets of ice cream. Then I talked to my son, and he said that his card was declined at one register, so he went to the other one and paid. I checked my bank account, and it was charged twice for ice cream at Asda Colchester at the same time. I went back to the store and talked to the lady who stopped my son and the security guard. They checked the camera monitoring again and said that my son had paid. The lady very rudely gave me the money back. I feel angry about this, and they hurt my son very much. I am deeply sorry; I will never shop at Asda again and I will describe the whole issue on social media at my earliest convenience.
Me and my family are on holiday in the Colchester area, and we have never ever encountered an issue like this. This could have been an act of discrimination as me and my family are Polish and were speaking Polish during our shopping trip. This is racist and unacceptable. I feel deeply disappointed by this experience.

I was out shopping this morning before work to buy breakfast. Unfortunately, I had to leave everything and leave hungry because none of the cash registers worked for card payments. As mesmerizing as your entire supermarket.

the music is too loud and mediocre, encouraging people to leave the store as quickly as possible. Worst shop in Colchester

Yesterday evening I was ordered out of the door that I had entered, with a large welcome sign above it, by a security guard, as apparently this was an exit door. It was too much to just let me through to the same spot that the entrance door would have led me too, as “that’s the way things are”. For years I have popped in here on my way back for work, however I have no tolerance for being patronised by overzealous security guards quoting authoritarian regulation. I will now part company with you for Morrisons, Hadleigh, where you are welcomed, not rejected. You failed in your customer care, Asda.
