Used the store 3 times now. Never used you company until recently. Been buying a load of ps3 games about 15 so far. Great selection and just a couple of quid each. I like they are all well organised and the shop tidy. I liked the staff advised me 1st time I used the store if I wanted multiple titles, best to drop them on the counter as I go, that way I'm not waiting for all the discs to be found at the end.

What I found could be improved is twice I have purposely picked out the original game case and not the Platinium titled one. Both times I have been given the disc with the big yellow Platium logo on. The 1st time I didn't notice until I got home. 2nd tune I learned, and caught it. Yes I know I could have brought it back for refund, but wasn't worth it for 2 quid. Perhaps staff could be told.avout this, because as time goes on, more of these platinum (the value series) games will be sold as it was a ps2 but mainly a ps3 thing so will be more of a problem as they gain popularity.

I found all the games to work. All with the acceptable scratches was fine. But all discs are dirty. I know they are cheap, but every time there have been 3 mebers of staff behind the tills and I would hope one of them could at least dust the discs before putting into cases. Again, I didn't ask to find out if they could do that. But asking seems excessive.
Overall I liked the concept of the shop and was good to be able to browse retro games in an actual shop, like it would be years ago.

Manager/cleaning assistant. Been in the shop today. After search ps game the guy was cleaning and flick dust over us. After walking away to buy the game we choose. He was saying f-img customers, moving games around and making shelf.
If your staff are un professional and rude

Went in to trade a mint condition S21 Ultra, when I was served I was advised it was not, as there was no charging lead supplied. I challenged them onsite that there wasn't one supplied and I was advised there would have been. No staff member even carried out a simple search online to see if they were supplied with one and I had no signal to check, as a result the valuation of my phone went down from £277 to £195 initially, when I challenged this it then went up to £231 as your employee had not entered the details correctly. Then I was charged for a USB C cable otherwise they would not have took the phone.

The phone was permanently in a case with screen and camera protectors, which is why the condition was good.

I can only assume that your staff are poorly trained as they are not aware of what items come in the box, surely it can't be there arrogance?!?

Went into the Clacton CEX branch to trade in my old Nintendo switch lite and a game I already had and the process was so quick and easy. Whilst I’m here I’d also like to give a special thanks to the staff there that helped me out when my blood sugars dropped causing me to almost faint. The staff provided me with a chair, something to drink and a sugary donut to bring my blood sugar back and allowed me time to come back round. Never experienced kindness or non-judgement like it in a shop. Thank you again. I’m truly grateful

Went in at 5:06 and yes I'm fully aware that they close at half 5,
A simple "we sorry but we won't have time to day" would of been fine but the rudeness coming from the man! I could only gather as the manager of some sort, clearly need to go on a customer service retraining I will be taking my business to a different CEX
