I am not very happy with the service i received from Hinds in Evesham. I took in two watches to have new batteries fitted one was replaced quickly but the other which was a commemorative watch for Concorde was scratched and badly damaged on the back plate which i did not notice at the time and damaged the engraving on the back, they said it was all done and the battery replaced but hid the fact that they had damaged the watch so will be very wary of going back to have anthing done to my watches again.

I visited the store today to replace my Radley watch battery. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I was told about a battery lifetime guarantee, so I signed up for that.
I also bought a silver necklace for a special bead.
The lady who looked after my watch did a wonderful job cleaning it and all in all a positive experience.

All I wanted was a cheap wristwatch strap replacing. Not the sort of thing to excite any salesperson. However, the gentleman attending to my humble request was old-fashioned courteous and anxious to please me, which he did in a very professional way. The modest cost was irrelevant, but the first class experience was worth a fortune. Peace of mind for a more expensive and memorable purchase where confidence in service matters.

The girls were all lovely and helpful. I went in to browse cheap watches and came out with a perfect (not too expensive) one for me which Jo fitted to my wrist. Thank you.
