Fishguard Ferry port may not dazzle, but boy, does it exist—and it does so with quiet competence. The parking is ample, the signage is legible, and the coffee is... present. No dolphins, no drama—just ferries that show up, leave roughly on time, and don’t sink.

The staff are friendly in a "my shift ends in 11 minutes" kind of way, actually they were very nice, and the waiting area has exactly the number of chairs you’d expect: enough, but not a single one more. I even saw a seagull politely poo on a motorhome. That’s the vibe.

If you want mild adventure and want a port that’s just solidly fine, Fishguard is your port.

It’s all a bit dated but the staff were friendly enough and the boarding process was simple.

Very friendly and efficient check-in. Made to feel welcome throughout our short stay waiting for our ferry to dock and take us over to Rosslare.

Coming from B.C. I think we are a bit spoiled for ferries.
It has a little cafe with machine coffee and some light snacks.
There's decent seating and tables and washroom facilities.

Nice, but not B.C. Ferries...👍🏻. But hey, we're traveling!
